Who We Are

ZoomerMedia operates a diverse Canadian media portfolio across television, radio, print and digital. Through Curiocity Media Group (CMG), our digital brands include Daily Hive, blogTO, Curiocity, Dished, Offside, MobileSyrup, EverythingZoomer and titus/one. CMG combines national reach with deep local connections. Across web, social, video, branded content, email and performance media, we help advertisers reach engaged audiences. Our Enterprise / Agency Sales team builds strategic relationships with major advertisers and agency partners to develop campaigns and long-term commercial partnerships.

Who You Are You are a credible, consultative media sales professional who builds trust with brand marketers and agency teams. You understand how advertising budgets are planned and can turn a business objective or campaign brief into a compelling recommendation. You combine relationship development with proactive selling and disciplined account planning. You navigate multiple stakeholders, coordinate strong proposals and follow through on commercial commitments to win new partnerships and expand existing accounts.

Requirements

What You'll Do You will develop revenue across assigned enterprise advertisers and agency relationships, combining proactive business development with account expansion and responses to briefs and RFPs. You will own the commercial relationship and sales cycle, working with internal specialists on strategy and delivery. • Build account plans that map advertiser divisions, agency teams, stakeholders, account history, budget cycles and opportunities for new investment. • Develop relationships with brand marketing leaders, media planners, buyers, strategists and PR partners through targeted outreach, meetings, presentations and industry events. • Create opportunities through proactive ideas and pitches; build relationships early enough to influence briefs and secure consideration in upcoming plans. • Lead discovery and qualify briefs against objectives, audiences, success measures, budget, decision process and timing; align next steps across stakeholders. • Develop expertise across relevant CMG brands, audiences and products; build persuasive recommendations spanning content, social, video, display, email and performance media. • Lead tailored proposals and RFP responses with strategy and delivery teams; negotiate pricing, scope and terms within approval guidelines and close against revenue targets. • Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity stages, next steps and forecasts; confirm advertiser, agency and rep ownership and coordinate coverage with other sellers. • Coordinate clear campaign handoffs and signed IO, PO and billing requirements with campaign management, operations and finance; document agreed scope and commitments. • Use campaign performance and client feedback to secure renewals, expand investment and develop opportunities across more divisions, agency teams and represented brands. • Use account research, audience insights and approved AI and sales tools to strengthen preparation and follow-up; participate in account reviews and pipeline discussions. How success is measured: closed revenue, new strategic accounts, retained and expanded investment, qualified pipeline, access to relevant briefs, proposal conversion, forecast accuracy and CRM discipline.

What You Have Must-haves • Demonstrated success in B2B media, advertising, sponsorship or marketing-services sales, including winning and expanding client or agency relationships. • Ability to develop relationships with brand and agency decision-makers and manage opportunities involving multiple stakeholders. • Strong discovery, presentation and proposal-writing skills, including translating business objectives and campaign briefs into persuasive recommendations. • Commercial judgment and negotiation skills to explain value, manage objections and align pricing, scope and commitments with internal capabilities. • Strong account planning, CRM and forecasting discipline, with clear next steps and accountability across longer and more complex sales cycles. • Ability to interpret audience insights and campaign performance, and use research and sales technology to improve account preparation and follow-up. • Strong ownership and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate internal specialists, manage competing deadlines and attend client and agency meetings as needed.

Nice-to-haves • Established relationships with Canadian advertisers, media agencies, holding companies or PR and communications agencies. • Experience with integrated campaigns, branded content, sponsorships, digital media buying or programmatic advertising. • Experience leading RFP responses, agency presentations or annual account planning, and expanding partnerships across brands or business divisions. • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Ad Orbit, Salesforce or HubSpot; Google Workspace; and research tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, HeyReach or AI assistants. • Post-secondary education in business, marketing or communications is an asset, but not required.

Benefits

What We Offer • Structured onboarding, ongoing coaching and clear commercial expectations to support strategic account development and long-term success. • The opportunity to build partnerships across trusted Canadian media brands, supported by strategy, campaign management, content, creative and paid-media specialists. • Flexible paid time off policy to ensure you're able to get the break you need and work at an optimized level. • Opportunity for both professional and personal growth. Hybrid work environment. • Benefits package including dental, vision and extended health starting after 3 months. ***Please submit your resume in PDF format only. *** We are committed to a fair and transparent recruitment process.
